Perimeter Shooting Workout
If you have a partner, have her/him pass to you. If not, toss the ball to yourself!
Form Shooting - 20 shots 5 feet and in
Lay-ups -15 shots 5 Regular, 5 Power, 5 Reverse
Jump Shots off the Dribble – 20 shots (12 Feet and in)
Catch and face from the from the free-throw line area, fake, and step explosively to the basket
with a dribble. 10 on R & 10 on L
Free throws Shoot 10
Bank Shots -20 shots (15 to 18 Feet)-Catch and face from the wing, shoot from a 45 degree angle using the glass.
Free throws Shoot 10
Step Back Shots – 20 shots 15-18 Feet
Catch and face from the wing, take 1 or 2 dribbles then step back and shoot. 10 on R & 10 on L
3 Point Shots – 20 shots Toss the ball to yourself from outside the 3 point area.
Rebound your own shot and continue along the 3 point line.
Free throws 10 shots
7 Spot Shooting – 35 shots 15 feet and beyond 5 Shots at each of the 7 spots.
